Do you watch the news or read newspapers?
I rarely watch the news and often miss what the media want to declare as world wide events. The few times I read a newspaper I miss entire articles about crime, violence, political corruption in search of interesting and good news.
I quit reading and watching the news on a regular basis about 20 years ago (how's that for declaring my age?). Why? I was learning to sell real estate and a well known trainer wrote about the effect of negative news on a person's mind and attitude. I was struggling a little and thought I would give it a shot. I figured if it worked for very successful sales people it would work for me, I had nothing to lose and lot to gain... I was barely selling enough to catch up on my bills.
I didn't achieve overnight success but I had more time and energy to learn about personal achievement. I didn't and still don't miss the news. I was looking for a daily dose of good news and found a newsletter dedicated to sharing good news articles. You can get a free weekly subscription here http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/most-popular
I've chosen to buy an annual subscription because I believe that sharing good news will help change the world even if it's only for a few minutes at a time.
Why not take a few minutes out of your hectic day and
