I like print newsletters. I like being able to take the newsletter with me when I'm going to a coffee shop or working out of my office. A print newsletter gives me something to read while I'm relaxing or between meetings. I can share a print newsletter with people I meet. I can mail them out to people I
I like email newsletters. I like the fact that you can track the open rates, you can track the bounce rates, and you can test different headlines very easily. I can forward good newsletters to friends and clients easily.
The bad things about print newsletters are the cost of printing and mailing. You can't track open rates, you can't see if your newsletter was shared. People frown on using natural resources to print a newsletter.
The bad part of email newsletters is their very easy to delete. You need to be on a computer to read them. If there's a tip you want to keep you have to save the email or print it. Using your computer consumes electricity. if you don't have time to read the newsletter it sits in your inbox until you get overwhelmed and delete it without reading it.
At the end of the day the decision is up to you.
What matters most about your newsletter is that the content is relevant to the person your sending it to. Your newsletter needs to have something that make people want to read it. The articles need to be well written. The format needs to be pleasing to the eye of the reader.
I provide newsletters in the format of your choice. I can send a print newsletter, a pdf or an electronic newsletter.
p.s I prefer print myself.
