The message goes like this; "Hi, it's (Name) call me back 4?6-9??-???3"
You know the message I mean, the one where the person says their telephone number so fast that what you hear sounds like a rush of wind in the trees. (Maybe their trying to save on call time or into speed speaking - I'm not sure why it happens.)
I'll play that message a couple of times to try and get the number and then I'll stop. I hope you call me back.
If you're not someone I call every day I probably don't know your telephone number off the top of my head. That means I have to look it up. The trouble with looking it up is that I have to start my computer or go online and I'm usually doing something else at the same time or not near my computer.
If you want your calls returned... Slow down! Leave your message slowly and clearly. Leave your number twice so I don't have to keep replaying the message. The time it takes will increase the number of returned calls you get.
