I'm write them a letter and then call them to follow up on the letter. Simple but effective marketing.
I write flyers, letters, brochures, website content, advertisements, training manuals, newsletters, etc. When I tell them what I do the majority of them say they do that themselves.
When I ask them how long it takes they tell me either only a few minutes or a couple of hours.
When I ask them what kind of response they get I usually get a reply along the lines of "I don't know" or the vague "We got a couple of calls"
When I ask them how much they make on a sale or the dollar value of their time they tell me everything from $50.00 an hour to thousands of dollars per sale.
So then it's simple math really... if the effort didn't bring in sales and clients the time was wasted and they cost themselves money. They lost income, they spent money and took time from doing what they're good at.
So what is your time worth?
